Lex Incorporation was established in 1987 in the heart of the Japanese racehorse breeding area, Hokkaido Island in Japan. It was formed by 13 breeders who wanted firstly to improve the Japanese racehorse breeding industry. They felt that there was a great need to respond to the increasing internalization and free market competition. To assist the industry in the inevitable and large scale changes, the main priority of Lex Inc. is to provide a strong back bone of efficient, excellent and wide ranging services to breeders and racehorse owners.
The base of the Lex Inc. is to be found on “Nijuken” road which is widely famous for its natural beauty and its rows of spectacular cherry blossom trees. Blending easily into its surroundings is the picturesque Lex Stud. This well appointed stud has become quite a feature in the area with its attractive American Kentucky styled barns and buildings set amongst the well established trees and the white railed stallion paddocks.
